Hitting rebar or damaging tension cables is a common problem when drilling in reinforced concrete. In addition to damaging your valuable drilling or grinding tools, this can also have far-reaching consequences for the structure of the concrete construction. This risk can be limited by using a rebar detector! The M-101 rebar detector from Fisher is a metal detector that has been specially developed for detecting and locating rebar, tension cables and wall anchors in walls, floors, columns and ceilings. The electronics housing is connected by means of the supplied belt worn on the chest; the lightweight handle with search disc is held in one hand and the other hand is free to mark the correct position of the detected metal.

Electronics housing with two controls for sensitivity and depth, signal strength meter and connection option for headphones (optional) for environments with a lot of noise. The detection signal is displayed both visually (deflection meter) and by an audio signal. Waterproof search disk. The detection depth for rebar of ø 13 mm is 20 cm. Accuracy, approx. 5 mm.
