Conventional mine detectors are inefficient in searching for unexploded ordnance due to their extreme sensitivity to the smallest metal particles. After all, every detection signal must be examined. With the new PIDD2 from Ebinger, this is a thing of the past! By means of the so-called 'delay' controller, metal splinters of a predetermined size can be filtered out and magnetic interference caused by ferrous soil is suppressed. This saves a significant amount of time during your UXO searches. The PIDD2 has two operating options, dynamic and static, and produces a clearly audible acoustic signal when detected.
